Dinner on the Edge: The Post Ranch Inn

As I pack my cameras and clothes for another culinary adventure, I remember I have yet to post any photos from our honeymoon drive up Highway 1. I'll post more soon, but in the meantime, here are few photos from our sunset supper at the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur.

The food was good, Katie was beautiful, martinis were many, and our table was on the edge of a cliff.

Crispy Duck Head and Harvest Week at Motor Supply Co. Bistro

Last month between stops on The Barbecue Bus' South Carolina tour, Rien Fertel and I were invited for Harvest Week at Motor Supply Company Bistro in Columbia, SC. During the fall and spring harvests, chef Tim Peters and owner Eddie Wales invite their customers to meet the farmers that supply the restaurant's kitchen. Each night seasonal cocktails are followed by dinner with a menu featuring dishes that showcase each grower.
